Community Partnerships

Camp Wingmann: We strive to send every youth of our parish to the Diocesan week-long summer camp.

Heart 4 Winter Haven: We volunteer as trainers in their Jobs 4 Life program.
Meals on Wheels of WH: We volunteer to deliver hot, nutritionally balanced meals and a daily contact to the homebound.

The Mission of WH: We collect food and toiletries to help the Mission provide an immediate response of food, support services, and a day center for homeless individuals and all in need

My Brother’s Keeper (Polk State): We support this multidisciplinary service-learning project designed to help Polk State College students who are in need stay in college and obtain a degree. MBK provides information about and referrals to community resources, snacks and beverages, and personal hygiene items.

Scouts: For many years, Holy Cross has enthusiastically sponsored a Boy Scout Troop, a Cub Scout Pack, and a Girl Scout Troop.

Silly Sock Saturdays: We donate funds to this non-profit organization, which was started by one of our young parishioners to help kids in hospitals by bringing joy and happiness to them in the form of silly socks with comfort items, such as toys, coloring books, and crayons, and delivered with a smile.
