Blue Christmas Service – Monday, December 23
Please join us Monday, Dec. 23 at 4pm for a Blue Christmas service. For some, this time of year is very difficult; and, for some, memories of past experiences and the pain of present experiences can become overwhelming. We recognize that this is not a season of joy for everyone. We will invite you to reflect on the pain, the loneliness, and the sadness you may feel and offer it to God for healing and transformation. We pray that you will find hope and comfort in knowing that you are not alone. Always remember that God knows your pain and loves you unconditionally.
Caroling – Sunday, December 22
Please join us Sun., Dec. 22 at 3pm as we sing carols at three care facilities in the area: Winter Haven Health & Rehabilitation, Spring Lake, and Spring Haven.
Lynch Creek Farm Holiday Fundraiser – ends December 15
It seems a bit early to think about holiday shopping, but we are again participating in the LCF fundraiser. They offer many beautiful, high-quality evergreen holiday decorations in addition to home décor, smoked salmon, dried floral wreaths, and gift cards. Their fresh evergreen collections include wreaths, swags, centerpieces, garland, tabletop trees, and boxes of greenery. A percentage of every purchase made through the link will be given to Holy Cross. Check out: https://lynchcreekfundraising.com/campaigns/610777

Christmas Angel Tree – by December 19
This year, we will collect items for Holy Cross families. For those who selected a tag, the accompanying angel ornament is yours to keep in thanksgiving for your generosity. Please wrap your gift and attach the tag, so we can identify the gift. (Please note: that identification tag will be removed and a tag with the child’s name will be placed on the gift.) Return your gift to the narthex or church office by Dec. 19. Thank you for sharing your love of Christ and for helping to make a child’s Christmas brighter!
