The Congregational Care Ministry team provides lay pastoral care and encouragement to members of the Holy Cross Church family who are not only ill or homebound but also to those who need special prayers or who have special needs. This ministry serves as the hands and feet (and sometimes automobiles) of our Lord.
The Congregational Care Ministry presently includes the following services and opportunities for you utilize and in which God is calling you to be involved:
- “After Hours” Receptionist
- Bereavement Ministry
- Card Ministry
- Casserole Patrol
- Homebound Contacts
- Lay Eucharistic Visitors who take Holy Communion to shut ins
- Nursery during Sunday service
- Email Prayer Chain
- Telephone Prayer Chain
- Prayer Team
- Sunday Prayer Intercessors
- Soaking Prayer Team
- Transportation for Medical Appointments
