Holy Cross Church
What to expect when you walk into our Church
First of all, a warm and friendly family type atmosphere.

In  fact, our by word is; "Friendly People Serving Jesus"

Here's our order of service

Procession: An acolyte carrying the Cross leads the choir, readers, and minister accompanied by the singing of a familiar hymn.

The service begins with prayers, Scripture readings, songs of praise, and meditation on God's Word for us that day. We call this part of the service, "The Word of God".

The sermon for the day is directly related to the predeeding Scripture readings

Next, the service turns personal and we re-affirm our faith, offer our prayers, and greet one another, extending God's Peace to one another.

Then, the worship turns again to the Lord's Table as he bid us to do at the Last Supper, with the Great Thanksgiving.

The Worship Service closes with the Priest extending God's Blessing to everyone, then the recessional and the Deacon's dismissal to everyone, "Go in Peace to Love and Serve the Lord".

Then the fellowship time begins in the parishhall where refreshements are served

Thank you for worshipping with us and may God go with you. Amen
