Cursillo - Michelle Cobb

The word Cursillo means "short course" and it is active in Catholic Churches around the world and in all 50 states in the Episcopal Church.

It is designed to help Christians develop and specific plan and discipline for their walk in faith.

It is more than a warm and fuzzy weekend. It helps clarify just what we should do , want to do and can do with our faith in the Christ Jesus.

Holy Cross has a growing Episcopal cursillo community.  In 2007 we had 5 attend, 3 women and 2 men.  We have several groups that meet weekly following cursillo guidelines.  We  have 1 or 2 ULTREYAS a year.

Watch this web site for dates of ultreyas and future cursillo  activities.

Daughters of the King - Bettie Bizier

Vision Statement
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision as Daughters of     the King is to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others, and to become reflections of God's love throughout the world.

    Who We Are
The Order of the Daughters of the King (DOK) is a spiritual  sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of Prayer, Service and Evangelism. We have made a commitment to Jesus as our Savior, and we follow Him as Lord of our lives. We are an Order for women who are communicants of the  Episcopal Church, churches in communion with it, or  churches in the Historic Episcopate. Today our membership  includes women in the Anglican, Episcopal, Lutheran  (ELCA) and Roman Catholic churches.
